In May 1991 Chempetrol Overseas Limited established its head office in Malta, which is a business and financial centre for many companies doing business in the Mediterranean basin. Its business consisted in that of a petrochemical trading company and initially focussed on two main products. Following a period of dynamic growth the company now trades in different products consisting of methanol, fertilisers and olefins.

In 1996, Chempetrol set up its Marketing branch office in the Swiss city of Lugano enabling it to provide more comprehensive, high-quality service to both suppliers and consumers. This expansion has led to the enhancement of the company's business activities.

OILINVEST GROUP with its headquarters in The Hague, operates in the European downstream oil sector under the TAMOIL and HEM brands. It owns and operates a network of over 2,400 fuel stations and a sizeable refining and storage facility in Hamburg /Germany consisting of a medium-conversion, cat-cracking refinery with a capacity of around 5 million tonnes per year.

DECAL GROUP provides services for the storage and handling of oil products, chemicals, petrochemicals, Liquefied Petroleum Gases, biofuels, bunker products. It owns and operates six terminals in five different countries, with a total capacity of nearly 2 million cubic metres.

Apart from Italy, Decal has a solid reputation in Spain, Panama and Brazil, for providing professional and independent services with tailor-made solutions to third parties.
